Organizing Cherokees in 5 Northeastern States

East Coast Cherokees is an At-Large Cherokee community of Citizens and their families, working to connect more than 100 at-large citizens of the Cherokee Nation through community gatherings, cultural events, language preservation, and identifying key resources available to all Cherokee Nation Citizens.

Any enrolled members of the Cherokee Nation and their families are eligible to join the East Coast Cherokees At-Large group!

Of the nearly 500,000 Cherokee Nation Citizens, more than half live At-Large, or outside of the Reservation. The Cherokee Nation began supporting and organizing At-Large groups of Cherokees in order to better assist citizens living across the present-day United States.

East Coast Cherokees is the Northeastern most of those At-Large groups, with members ranging from New Jersey to Massachusetts.
